During the panel event “Are You Prepared for an Earthquake?” organized by the Civil Engineering Club at Gebze Technical University, Prof. Dr. Selçuk Toprak delivered a talk titled “Infrastructure Systems and Soil Behavior During Earthquakes.”

 While focusing on seismic risks and infrastructure, Prof. Toprak also took the opportunity to introduce the FLIGHT Project, an Erasmus+ initiative focused on drone technologies in vocational education and training (VET).

 What is FLIGHT about?
 Empowering VET educators and learners with digital and environmental competencies
 Integrating drone technologies into sustainable development themes
 Offering training tools for real-world applications such as:
 Smart Cities
 Disaster Monitoring
 Water Resource Management
 Precision Agriculture
 Construction Site Observation
