Training 2000 Joins First Civil Protection Drone Training in Senigallia, Italy

Training 2000 participated in the first-ever Civil Protection Drone Training Session, an initiative by the Civil Protection Department of Senigallia. The event focused on training new drone pilots to support environmental monitoring, particularly of the Misa River.

With the increasing challenges of floods and bank erosion, drones have become a key tool for monitoring environmental changes. The DJI 4 PRO drones, equipped with high-definition cameras, will provide crucial data to help track the river’s condition over time.

Held at the municipal sports center, the training session introduced participants to drone piloting and covered the requirements for obtaining the A1-A3 license under EU Regulation 2019/947. Led by expert instructors, attendees learned essential skills to operate drones effectively for data collection and environmental protection.

This training marks a significant step in integrating drone technology into civil protection efforts. With ongoing training and regular drone flights, the Civil Protection Department will have up-to-date information to aid in decision-making and ensure the safety of the surrounding communities.
